Parts of the Boise area, Eastern Oregon could see serious winds on Saturday, NWS reports
The National Weather Service warns residents of the Boise area, southwest Idaho and Baker County, Oregon, to expect serious winds on Saturday afternoon, with cooler temperatures on Easter Sunday.
A cold front is expected Saturday, followed by west or northwest winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph into Saturday evening, according to NWS. Gusts of up to 50 mph are possible near Mountain Home.
Roads in Idaho’s west-central mountains will also be slick on Saturday evening as snow showers Saturday evening will produce less than one inch of snow, according to the NWS predictions.
The Snake River Basin on Monday will see a cold front with temperatures dropping to 25 to 32 degrees in the agricultural areas of southwest Idaho.
