Family offers reward for information about Boise man missing since December

The family of a 68-year-old disabled man named Teo is offering a $3,000 reward for credible information that leads to his location. Teo has been missing since Dec. 19.

The Boise Police Department has received dozens of tips since Teodomiro, or Teo, left his residence in the area of Cole Road and Mountain View Drive, but the last confirmed sighting is still the day he disappeared, according to a police news release. Since then, officers have not been able to verify where he went or whether anyone saw him.

Teo is known to be an engaging individual and it’s expected that he would try to talk to people he encounters. He does not speak English, however.

He is considered a vulnerable adult; his family says he suffered a traumatic brain injury and sometimes gets confused.

Investigators ask that people not assume the search for Teo is limited to any one area of the Treasure Valley. Residents are asked to search their properties, outbuildings and other accessible areas.

Officers have searched the area where Teo was last seen multiple times, with no success.

Teo is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 275 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green winter jacket, jeans and a “fuzzy hat” with earflaps.

Anyone who has information about Teo is asked to contact Boise police at 208-377-6790.
