A 16-year-old boy was hit by a 15-year-old boy driving a pickup truck Tuesday morning near Timberline High School in southeast Boise, according to Boise Police.
The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, according to Boise Police.
The driver was cited for inattentive driving, the news release said.
The teenager was hit at the intersection of Boise Avenue and Linden Street while he was crossing Linden in the crosswalk. The high school is southeast of the intersection.
