The Boise City Council on Tuesday approved the second phase of developer Terry Grisham’s 82-home Bonneville Pointe project, on Columbia Road about 2 miles east of Micron Technology’s headquarters.

This phase of the project includes spaces for 48 homes on a little less than 14 acres. It’s unclear when construction will begin. Efforts to contact Grisham were unsuccessful.

Boise approved the preliminary plan for all of Bonneville Pointe in September 2013, according to city records. The final layout for the project’s first phase gained city approval in May 2016.

It’s unclear how many of the first-phase homes have been built.

The approval of Grisham’s final plat comes one week after the council denied developer Jim Conger’s application to annex 110 acres near Bonneville Pointe into Boise and build 430 homes there. Concerns about traffic and a lack of access points to Conger’s project led to its denial.
