In January, Ada County Highway District will embark on an eight-month construction project rebuilding and widening the Fairview Avenue and Cole Road intersection in central Boise.
ACHD has announced its road closure plan during construction:
January and February: Close Cole south of Fairview. Fairview stays open.
March to June: Close Cole north of Fairview; close north half of Fairview

June to August: Close Cole south of Fairview; close south half of Fairview.
ACHD will hold a community meeting on the project from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 15 at Westgate Shopping Center, 7500 Fairview Ave.
More than 20,000 vehicles traverse the intersection daily, according to ACHD’s latest traffic count.
