Ada County will begin work Tuesday to widen and smooth out the 1.14-mile stretch of Greenbelt pathway between the Warm Springs Golf Course and Starview Drive.

The construction project is scheduled to wrap up by mid-November. The Greenbelt will be closed to all users during construction. The new path will have an asphalt surface.

A county statement warned Greenbelt users not to use Warm Springs Avenue as a detour route.

“Users attempting to access the Barber Valley from the west will be directed south at the Baybrook Court Bridge,” according to the statement. “Users approaching from the east will be directed south at the East Park Center Bridge.”
