2 dead after car crashes into Boise River
Two people died when a vehicle rolled over into the Middle Fork of the Boise River near Atlanta on Saturday, according to the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office.
The remains of a 21-year-old female and a 14-year-old male were recovered after the vehicle they were in went off of Middle Fork Road near milepost 32 around 2:30 a.m., said sheriff’s officials. Four others in the car, which was found upside down in the river, survived.
The Sheriff’s Office has not released the names of anyone involved in the accident.
Detectives say they are still investigating.
