ISP: Two injured in I-84 rollovers in Payette County
Two men were injured in a two-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate-84 near the Black Canyon exit, according to an Idaho State Police press release.
Oscar Cisneros, of New Plymouth, was headed west in a 2007 Hummer H3 when he clipped the driver’s side of Ronald Dietzler’s 1959 Ford Thunderbird, also westbound, police said. Both vehicles entered the median and rolled, with Cisneros’ Hummer stopping in an eastbound lane of I-84, and Dietzler’s vehicle coming to rest in the median.
Cisneros, 20, was taken to St. Luke’s Clinic in Fruitland. Dietzler, 80, of Meridian, was taken to Caldwell’s West Valley Medical Center, according to the release. No additional information was given on either man’s condition Saturday evening. Both men were wearing their seat belts, police said.
The crash occurred at milepost 12, near the Black Canyon exit in Payette County. ISP is still investigating the incident.
