The body of Ronald M. Delaney was found Saturday at the Owyhee Reservoir north of Jordan Valley, Ore., according to law enforcement.
Delaney died in an apparent suicide, Owyhee County Sheriff Perry Grant said. Malheur County Sheriff Brian Wolfe confirmed the circumstances of the death.
The 52-year-old Homedale man was last seen Jan. 29, and he was expected to be home a couple of days later. He reportedly suffered from Alzheimer’s disease, and law enforcement asked the public for help last weekend in finding him.
“It was unknown what he was doing or where he was going,” Grant said. Delaney’s daughter reported him missing.
