Tuesday will be bright, but chilly in the Treasure Valley
Tuesday will be sunny in the Boise area, but highs will only reach the mid 30s.
Wednesday, the National Weather Service predicts a 40 percent chance of snow, with odds increasing to 50 percent on Thursday. Rain will reappear on Friday, with a good chance that it will continue through the weekend with highs in the low 40s.
The Weather Service also notes that the storm system that brought hazardous winter conditions to parts of the Intermountain West and the Rockies will shift east on Tuesday and Wednesday. Travel in the High Plains will be difficult.
