A 41-year-old driver who crashed a truck into boulders on a median in a southeast Boise neighborhood Monday morning was treated at the scene for injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
Boise police said evidence at the scene indicates that speed was a factor in the crash. The driver was cited for negligent driving.
The crash occurred just before 7 a.m. near Idaho Highway 21 and Surprise Way.
Witnesses investigators that the pickup truck was driving east on Surprise Way when the driver lost control on a curve. The pickup crashed into the center median, striking several landscaping boulders.
