The public will have the chance to discuss concepts for bicycle and pedestrian circulation improvements with experts and hospital staffers at an open house hosted by St. Luke’s and Alta Planning + Design from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19 at Boise Senior Center, 690 Robbins Road.
David Foster of Salt Lake City-based Alta Planning + Design will be available to discuss possibilities under consideration, including cycle tracks, bike signals, raised crossings, roundabouts, and other suggestions from local bicyclists, neighborhood leaders and pedestrian advocates. He will also share case studies of other communities.
The open house is part of a series of public gatherings hosted by St. Luke’s in conjunction with the proposed expansion of its downtown campus. The Boise City Council approved the hospital’s master plan earlier this year.
