Boise police are investigating a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on the inbound I-184 Connector Wednesday evening that killed the man driving the motorcycle.
Harrison Berlin, 32, of Boise died at the scene of the crash Wednesday. The cause of his death was ruled to be due to blunt force trauma, according to the Ada County Coroner’s Office.
The crash was reported to police at 7:10 p.m. Witnesses told officers the motorcycle hit a concrete barrier at what appeared to be a high rate of speed, throwing both Berlin and the motorcycle over the barrier. Both landed in the skate park below, police said.
Berlin was not wearing a helmet and was dead when emergency responders reached him. The skate park, which is under construction, was fenced off and closed to the public.
