Update: George has been found safe, according to a notice from the Ada County Sheriff’s Office.

The Ada County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to locate a missing senior.

George, 92, was last seen at around noon Wednesday not far from his home near Lake Hazel Road and Five Mile Road in Boise, according to a Facebook post from the Sheriff’s Office.

George may have traveled eastbound on Lake Hazel on a four-wheel mobility scooter, according to officials. He was wearing a black shirt and a veteran’s cap.

George has a memory-related medical condition and may be lost, authorities said.

Anyone with information on George is asked to call Ada County Dispatch at 208-377-6790 or 911.
