Emergency crews remain at Swan Falls Dam after authorities received a call reporting a water rescue involving an adult Sunday afternoon.

The call came in at 2:58 p.m., according to the Kuna Police Department. Responding agencies include the Ada County Sheriff’s Office and Kuna Fire and Paramedics.

As of about 6:50 p.m., the rescue effort remained active.

A Kuna Police Department spokesperson said the incident was classified as a water rescue involving an adult but could not provide additional information about the person’s identity or the circumstances that prompted the response.

The spokesperson said that while the incident remains ongoing, there is no longer an incident command post at the scene. The department did not provide additional details about the status of the operation.
