Boise farmers market is back. Here’s where to find it — and what’s for sale
If you’re on the lookout for fresh fruits, veggies and homegrown goods, you may want to add the Boise Farmers Market to your calendar.
The annual farmers market returns to Boise just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Here’s what to know:
When is Boise farmers market? Where?
The Boise Farmers Market will host its first pop up market of the season on Saturday, Feb. 14, from 11 a.m. to noon.
More than 20 vendors will sell their wares near Ann Morrison Park at 670 South 15th St. in downtown Boise.
The first farmers market of 2026 is one of three pop-up events planned in February and March, according to organizers.
“Pop-ups are vendor-led flash-selling opportunities,” Boise Farmers Market executive director Amber Beierle told the Idaho Statesman in an email. “Our role at Boise Farmers Market is to get the word out about the amazing products they have.”
Pop-up farmers markets are scheduled for Saturday, March 7, and Saturday, March 21., at the same site as Saturday’s market. Each event runs from 11 a.m. to noon.
According to its website, the Boise Farmers Market will start holding full-scale weekly lasting from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Apr. 4.
What can I buy at the Boise Farmer’s Market?
At Saturday’s Boise Farmers Market event, “You will see lots of greens and things that can be grown in greenhouses or overwintering crops,” Beierle said, including onions, carrots and potatoes.
There will also be “various meats” and “a small smattering of eggs” available, Beierle added.
In addition, shoppers can find specialty goods as well as fresh made-to-order meals from food trucks.
Vendors slated to be on hand Saturday include:
- Alternative Flour Bakeshop: Gluten-free, dairy-free and soy-free baked goods
- Basque Bites: Fresh croquettes
- Crisp Food Truck: Kimchi and soups
- Fairweather Fish Co.: Codfish, salmon, octopus and rockfish
- Heartbeat Farm: Personal care and make up products, flowers and seasonal produce
- Little Cow Mountain Farm: Local beef, chicken and free-range eggs
- Little Devil Plant-Based Meats: Plant-based protein substitutes
- Raven Energy Herbs: Fresh and dried herbs, teas, tinctures, oils and salves
- Roots of Mexico: Traditional Mexican tamales, strawberry cheesecake and sourdough cinnamon rolls
- Williams Fruit Ranch: Dehydrated and freeze-dried apples, cherries, plums, prunes and peaches, plus apple cider and cherry juice
Sourdough bakery leaves market
According to Beierle, Burread Bakery has upgraded its shop to “a brick-and-mortar location and can no longer sustain operations at the market.”
You can still shop for Burread Bakery’s sourdough baked goods at 600 South 9th St. in Boise.
“They found an audience and grew as a business and family with us,” Beierle said. “We love that we serve as an incubator for businesses while also providing them the continued option to connect more directly with the broader community.”
What’s changing at Boise Farmer Market in 2026?
According to Beierle, the Boise Farmers Market is moving to a new, permanent home in 2026.
The farmer’s market will relocate to the Idaho Botanical Garden, 2355 North Old Penitentiary Road in Boise later this year.
Beierle said the exact date will be announced later.
