Idaho company ranked among best employers in the world, Forbes says. Which one?
Working for a massive company can come with its own ups and downs.
Although businesses with a global presence often have access to resources that smaller, more locally-focused operations don’t, they also have high demands.
Sometimes that means a poor work-life balance.
Forbes recently went in search of the world’s best employers — focusing on companies that prioritize workers’ wellbeing and “don’t guard a culture of overwork.”
The publication’s 2025 list of the best big companies to work for includes transportation giant Delta Airlines, automotive company BMW Group and tech companies Microsoft, Alphabet and Adobe.
One Boise-based company made the cut.
Here’s which one:
What are the best global employers to work for?
Forbes teamed up with market research firm Statista to survey more than 300,000 employees in more than 50 countries. The anonymous surveys focused on employees at corporations with global operations and more than 1,000 employees.
Participants were asked how likely they’d recommend their employer to family and friends.
Companies were also rated on criteria including work-life balance, company reputation, salary and career advancement opportunities, Forbes said.
Additionally, survey respondents were invited to evaluate employers they’d worked for in the past two years.
Responses were tallied and put in a scoring system that included data from the last three years, with an emphasis on newer data, according to Forbes.
The companies with the highest scores made Forbes’ ranking of the top 900 employers.
