Boise is currently seeing sunsets just after 7:45 p.m. According to TimeAndDate.com, the sunset will get just over a minute later every night for the next few weeks and will have its first 8:00 p.m. sunset on Saturday, March 22. Sunset will be at 8:10 p.m. by the end of March. Boise’s first 9:00 p.m. sunset will be on May 12.

When will Idaho see its latest sunset this year and how late will it be?
Sunsets will keep getting later until late June, when they’ll peak just after the summer solstice on June 20. According to the U.S. Navy’s Astronomical Applications Division, the latest sunset of the year typically occurs around June 28 in much of the U.S.
Boise’s latest sunset this year will occur at 9:30 p.m., the latest it will get in Boise this year, each night between June 22 and June 30, according to TimeAndDate.
