Police: Semi truck no longer blocking traffic on Interstate 84 near Meridian Road
A semi truck backed up traffic on Interstate 84 shortly before 6 p.m. on Friday, according to Idaho State Police. Half an hour later, the issue was resolved.
In a news release, ISP said the truck was blocking the right lane westbound I-84 near milepost 44, as well as the on-ramp to Meridian Road.
The circumstances surrounding the incident weren’t immediately clear Friday evening. Initial reports on the Idaho Transportation Department’s 511 map said the vehicle was disabled.
