Boise man injured in rollover crash on I-84 that shut down traffic Sunday morning

A Boise man was injured Sunday morning after rolling his van on Interstate 84 near the Elmore County line, according to an Idaho State Police news release.

Roger Flege, 36, was headed westbound in a 1999 Ford Econoline towing a 1985 Camper trailer at around 6 a.m. Sunday. His van went into the median and rolled on its side in the eastbound lanes of the interstate near mile marker 70. The camper detached in the rollover and remained in the median.

Officials said Flege, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by air ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. No update on his condition was available Monday afternoon.

The crash shut down both eastbound lanes for 90 minutes early Sunday morning as crews worked to clear the scene.
