Boise Fire Department boat gets stuck under bridge after losing power; 2 rescued

The Boise Fire Department rescued a pair of crew members Tuesday afternoon whose boat got stuck underneath the Broadway Bridge in Boise.

The United States Army Corps of Engineers lowered the water level of the Boise River in order to recover the boat, Boise Fire spokeswoman Char Jackson told the Statesman.

One crew member was evaluated for minor injuries at the hospital, Jackson said.

Two northbound lanes on the Broadway Bridge are currently closed, according to ACHD.
