One dead after crash Tuesday afternoon on I-84 near Nampa
An adult male died in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday on Interstate 84 near Nampa.
The driver, whose name has not been released, was driving a 2018 Ford truck eastbound near the Franklin Road exit when he “veered towards the median shoulder and collided with a 2006 Buick Rainier that was parked on the shoulder,” according to a press release.
Three people in the Buick, Rosita Martinez Lopez (35) , Sebastian Trujillo Varona (57) and an unnamed passenger, were sent to the hospital for care. A passenger in the Ford, 82-year-old Grayhl Johnson, was also transported to the hospital.
Traffic in the left lane was blocked for two hours, the release said. All occupants were wearing seatbelts.
