Grass fire burns 50 acres off of north Bogus Basin Road, cause under investigation
Boise Fire is responding to a grass fire near Bogus Basin Road and west Becker Ridge Lane that started on Sunday afternoon.
At last estimate, the fire was 50 acres and no structures are currently threatened. Multiple crews are on scene at a grass fire near the 5000 block of Bogus Basin Road..
The fire was called into dispatch at 3:12 p.m. Boise Police reported that Bogus Basin Road was closed Sunday to northbound traffic, at west Curling Drive, to allow fire crews access to the roads.
The cause is still under investigation, according to Boise Fire.
