Mountain Home AFB locked down Wednesday morning
A false report of shots fired prompted a lockdown at Mountain Home Air Force Base on Wednesday.
A “real-world active shooter incident” was reported at 4 a.m. on the base, according base officials. The lockdown was lifted about 6 a.m.
The incident is currently under investigation. Base officials would not provide any other details about what prompted the incident.
