A woman was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries Tuesday night after she was hit by a car.
Witnesses told Boise police that the woman was in the crosswalk at Ustick Road and Constantine Street at about 5:30 p.m. when a car driven by an adult woman struck her. The injured woman, who has not been identified, was taken to a local hospital.
Traffic in the area was affected for more than two hours.
The driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene and is cooperating, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
