American Airlines starts daily flight from Boise to Chicago
American Airlines began nonstop service Wednesday between Boise and Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
The new service operates on a Bombardier CRJ700 that holds up to 70 passengers, according to the Boise Airport, with one daily flight in each direction.
Flights will leave Boise at 1 p.m. daily, arriving in Chicago at 5:30 p.m. Central time. Return flights are scheduled each morning, leaving Chicago at 9:20 a.m. Central and arriving in Boise at 12:25 p.m.
American Airlines already offers nonstop service from Boise to Phoenix and to Dallas-Fort Worth, the airport said in a news release. American is the second airline, after United, to offer year-round nonstop flights to Chicago. Southwest Airlines offers nonstop summer-season service to Chicago Midway, the airport said.
