Have sensitive documents to get rid of? Shred them free at the Garden City Library

The Garden City Public Library is helping you keep your sensitive documents, papers, letters and more out of the wrong hands.

The library is partnering with Riverside Associates to offer a free Shred Day, 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 22 at the library, 6015 Glenwood St. in Garden City.

Bring up to five bags or boxes. Be prepared to wait a while if lines are long.

Western Records Destruction will dispose of your items.
