Ada reports more than 100 new COVID-19 cases for fifth straight day; state tops 400
Idaho’s seven health districts reported 405 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus on Tuesday, and Ada County again led the way.
Idaho’s most populated county, which includes Boise, reported 195 new cases, topping 100 for the fifth straight day. It has added 858 new cases since Friday, including 207 on Sunday.
Ada, which moved back to Stage 3 of Idaho’s reopening process on June 22, leads the state with 3,081 cases. Canyon County is next with 1,397 after it added 81 new cases on Tuesday.
More than 350 new cases were reported across the state for the fifth day in a row, and the statewide total stands at 7,958.
Tuesday’s total trails only the 472 reported on Monday, June 29, which included some cases from Sunday because the state didn’t report data that day.
