The City of Meridian is launching its first Youth Farmers Market on Saturday, June 25.

From 9 a.m. to noon, youth food vendors will peddle their wares at Meridian City Hall Plaza each Saturday through September 24.

Around a dozen youth vendors will sell fresh fruits, vegetables, berries, melons, flowers, eggs, meats, baked goods and hand-made crafts, according to a release. Other entertainment and food trucks will also be on hand.

Visit Meridian’s website for more information about the market or on how to become a vendor.
