The Hancock Fabrics store on Cole and Ustick roads in on the West Bench in Boise will close as soon as the end of June.

The store has about 10 or 11 employees, according to an employee there.

The closure is part of a nationwide shuttering of stores. Hancock Fabrics filed for bankruptcy in February. At the time, it operated more than 250 retail stores in 37 states.

The nationwide store closures began April 1.
