M & M Jewelers will close, new store to come to Downtown
M & M Jewelers, a family-owned jewelry store on Glenwood Street just south of State Street, will close on Valentine’s Day.
Until then, it is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. to liquidate its inventory.
“Mom moved back to California and opened her own store there,” said Randall Scott, who has operated the store since 1998. “[She] was ready to move back to the beach and semi-retire.”
But Scott said he plans to open a new store at 1008 W. Main St. in Downtown Boise.
The store, Randall Scott Jewelers, will focus on custom designs, as opposed to the broader inventory M & M Jewelers currently sells.
