Stinker station on Glenwood/Chinden closed

The Stinker Stores gas station and convenience store that was located at 4925 N. Glenwood St., Boise, has closed.

Stinker Stores owner Charley Jones said the company closed the store after evaluating its stores at various locations — the Glenwood store did not get enough business. He is looking for a buyer for the property.

Jones said the company is investing in new stores — two are planned for Meridian, and one is being rebuilt in Donnelly to become the largest Stinker store in Idaho.
