Idaho seniors, Monday is the deadline for Medicare

For seniors looking to purchase a Medicare Advantage plan or switch plans, the deadline to enroll is Monday, Dec. 7.

Trying to figure out whether to stick with the same plan you had this year? Overwhelmed by the array of plans sold by different insurance companies? Have questions about the enrollment process?

The Senior Health Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA) program, part of the Idaho Department of Insurance, offers free assistance and counseling to consumers.

The program’s volunteers do not sell insurance or make recommendations. They offer unbiased help to seniors navigating the complicated terrain of health insurance.
