Lincoln Says Its Giant 48-Inch Screen Can Actually Reduce Stress
What Is Lincoln Rejuvenate?
If you haven't been in a Lincoln vehicle lately, like the Nautilus or Navigator, you may be surprised to find a massive screen spanning 48 inches across the dashboard. Such a huge display might seem overwhelming, but this particular screen has a feature called Lincoln Rejuvenate, which is designed to relax and revitalize the driver and passengers.

"We started doing research and doing a proof of concept vision of what it could be in a vehicle. We found our customers were addressing their wellbeing and wanted a place to focus on that without it going to a spa or a sauna," says Justine Nestorowich, Harmony Engineer at Ford Motor Company. "The idea for tis experience was to bring wellbeing into a more accessible location: in your vehicle, wherever you go."
When you launch Lincoln Rejuvenate, it takes over the 48-inch panoramic screen and the lower 11.1-inch touchscreen, transforming them into one of five available relaxation programs: Aurora Borealis, Elements, Waterfall Meditation, Forest Meditation, and Tropical Paradise. Two of these themes also include guided meditation routines from Calm, and they also use other immersive features of the such as the speakers, massage sets, and digital scents.
New Themes Are In The Works
While five themes are currently available, Lincoln launched the feature with only three. Tropical Paradise recently joined the lineup through an over-the-air update, and the Forrest Meditation was added in late 2025.
"We did a lot of research showing what resonating with customers in terms of relaxation and rejuvenation, and we found consistently it was tied to nature," Nestorowich explains. "The Elements theme is all computer generated, but some of our other themes are real places on our planet, just adapted to fit our panoramic display. The waterfall theme was actually shot with a camera. We tried to tie back to where people feel the most relaxed, like those tropical vacations with the underwater coral and fish. It's the beauty and the power of mother nature with some melodic backgrounds to them. Ultimately, we test our themes through multiple iterations with customers through development."
We asked if Lincoln could create a cloud theme where you float through the sky in your Nautilus or Navigator, since the brand often employs aviation motifs in its interiors. Nestorowich says there is "more to come" and Lincoln is "always listening to gain news inspiration for experiences."
Scientifically Proven Relaxation
"This isn't a gimmick or just another fancy thing in the vehicle," Nestorowich tells Autoblog. Lincoln Rejuvenate is scientifically proven to be relaxing. The Detroit luxury automaker commissioned a study from Purdue University that underwent the peer review process, which determined in-vehicle experiences can reduce mental stress. 98% of participants preferred the relaxation experience over the control experience, and 62% said they would use it regularly following a stress-inducing cognitive task.
Using brain and heart measurements (EEG and ECG), the study showed measurable improvements to the average heartbeat (a 33 millisecond decrease) and heart rate variability (a five millisecond reduction).
This could explain why more than half of Nautilus and Navigator owners with access to Lincoln Rejuvenate have used the feature, and over one-third say they use it regularly. If you live in New York City, you can experience Lincoln Rejuvenate from June 12 through June 14, 2026, on the High Line at 14th Street during a special Global Wellness Day setup called The Sanctuary.
