Hayes Boutique celebrates new location in Boise’s Hyde Park with Juneteenth event
The North End’s popular Hyde Park area is adding a place to shop.
Hayes Company Boutique, a women’s clothing and jewelry store in Boise, is moving from its downtown location to a bigger space at 1609 N. 13th Street. The business is holding a grand opening on Saturday and Sunday with discounts, balloon-popping and champagne.
“Our move to this vibrant location allows us to better connect with our customers and provide an enhanced shopping experience,” Janie Hayes, the boutique’s owner, said in a news release. “I am incredibly grateful for for the support we’ve received and the friendships we’ve built along the way.”
The shop will celebrate its three-year anniversary in June. Hayes opened the store in 2020 in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic but had started the business online a couple of years prior.
Hayes studied fashion design and merchandising in Southern California before launching the “modern and minimal” fashion boutique in Boise.
The shop is hosting another event on June 19, or Juneteenth, to celebrate local Black artists and showcase their work. Hayes said in the news release that she’s committed to diversity, creativity and community engagement.
