Boise Towne Square mall to reopen Tuesday, but the stores’ plans are not known

The Boise Towne Square says the shopping mall’s common areas will be reopening on Tuesday.

The reopening follows Gov. Brad Little’s first stage of reopening, which started Friday. In an email, the mall said it would open the food court and mall concourses to customers.

In this first stage of Little’s Rebound Idaho plan, nonessential retailers that have been closed since the start of the stay-home order are now able to open. However, it’s not clear what the individual stores at the mall will do.

The mall closed its doors in March before the stay-home order that was a result of the coronavirus pandemic, leaving only the businesses with outside entrances open for a short time longer.
