Vulnerable adult who ‘wandered away’ from hospital found safe, police say

Update: Linda Monroe has been found safe, Meridian police said in a press release Friday.

The Meridian Police Department is searching for a woman unable to care for herself who “wandered away” from St. Luke’s on Eagle Road on Thursday afternoon.

Linda Monroe, 75, of Meridian, was last seen in a floral-patterned shirt, dark pants and lime green socks. She is 5-foot-7, 148 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Police believe Monroe lives near the 1000 block of Legislative Way.
