Three juvenile pedestrians hit by vehicle; 2 sent to hospital, Boise police say
Three juvenile pedestrians were struck by a vehicle Friday afternoon on Washington Street just east of 13th Street, according to tweets from the Boise Police Department.
According to a pair of tweets, it is believed that the incident occurred when a driver attempted to park but accidentally accelerated in reverse. Two juveniles, one male and one female, were sent to the hospital. The third victim, a female, was treated at the scene.
The driver, an 18-year-old female, was cited for inattentive driving, police tweeted.
