Meridian Pet of the Week: Oreo

Oreo, 1, is a low-to-the ground medium-energy young Dachshund/Chihuahua mix. Oreo is a transfer from another Idaho rescue. He is friendly with other dogs his size, but how he’d respond around large dogs or cats is unknown. He walks on his leash with purpose and has kept his kennel clean. Oreo is a bit uncertain in the shelter but perks up when you bring him outside and he can explore. He also seems to like being held and loved on.
