Canyon County Pet of the Week: Pecas

Pecas (freckles), 3, is an American blue heeler and Australian cattle dog, medium height and weighs 57 pounds. Pecas is vaccinated, micro-chipped and neutered. It is always recommended that you bring in all family members and other dogs in the home for a meet and greet prior to adoption. Pecas appears to respond to “sit,” “lay down” and “come” in Spanish.

Pecas resides in Dog Adoptions at the West Valley Humane Society located at 5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and closed on Sundays. For more information on other adoptable pets visit www.westvalleyhumaneosociety.org
