Canyon County Pet of the Week: Salvador Dogi

Salvador Dogi
Salvador Dogi

Salvador Dogi, 1, is a 9-pound Chihuahua mix that is super friendly with adults. He loves to be a lap baby sometimes, loves to get outside and play and run like the wind. He has a pretty fawn color short coat. He is neutered, micro-chipped and vaccinated. This poor little guy had a rough start. He has an old injury to his front leg which was ignored and did not heal properly. He is unable to use the leg and it had to be amputated. Dogs do great on three legs — as if they don’t know one is missing. He is happy, sweet, playful, and affectionate. The loss of his leg isn’t keeping him down one bit. What Salvador Dogi really wants is a family who will love him, protect him from life’s dangers (running stray), give him a nice safe fenced yard and lots of love. He deserves a great life.

Salvador Dogi is in the Kritter Room here at the West Valley Humane Society at 5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and closed on Sundays. For more information on other adoptable pets visit our website at: www.westvalleyhumanesociety.org
