Meridian Pet of the Week: Iggy

Iggy, 2, is a handsome burnished chocolate male miniature pinscher/dachshund mix.

He comes with a lot of personality. Iggy likes to cuddle but can be independent and is not clingy. He enjoys getting out for walks. He’s working on becoming fully potty-trained. Iggy can be possessive about toys and food, and is known to become hyper aroused, so an adult household or one with only older children is recommended. He loves squeaky toys and play interaction so will make a great companion for someone looking for more than just a lap dog. Iggy is currently in foster care.

To meet Iggy call the rescue at 794-0944 to set up an appointment with his foster family. For other adoptable dogs and current hours see or stop by the shelter at 191 N. Linder Road in Meridian.
