Meet Dorothy, pet of the week for March 23

Dorothy is a 4-year-old, 9-pound spayed female domestic shorthair with very pretty black and white tuxedo markings. She first came to the Idaho Humane Society as a stray in December, then was adopted and returned through no fault of her own a few days later. Since then, she’s been waiting to find her forever home. She’s been getting a bit stressed after months in the shelter, which has made it difficult to show the best aspects of her personality off to potential adopters. But once she finds patient owners and a home of her own, she will flourish! She has a lot of personality and spunk, but is also a very sweet girl who would love to cuddle with you.

Dorothy (#30485830) is located in kennel 106 at the Idaho Humane Society, 4775 Dorman St. Speak with the cattery staff if you would like to spend some time getting to know her! The shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week. You can call 475-0855 with any questions about Dorothy or learn more at idahohumanesociety.org.
