Meet Mickey, the pet of the week for March 10
Mickey is a 10-year-old, 13-pound neutered male domestic shorthair cat.
He is a very sweet boy that will rub up against you for some attention. Although he’s a bit older, he still has a spunky side and loves to play with toys.
Mickey was surrendered because of the unrealistic expectations of his previous owners. He came to the shelter with his front paws declawed, but he still wants to be an indoor/outdoor cat. An ideal home for him would be one with a secure outdoor space.
He has been waiting several weeks to find his forever home, and the shelter environment has been stressful for him. He had surgery around his eyelid, but has fully recovered.
Mickey has lived with dogs before and seems to be OK with other cats. A home with older children would be ideal for him.
He just wants to spend his golden years with a loving family.
