Ada County Pet of the Week: Ivy

Ivy
Ivy

Ivy, 3, is a 60-pound spayed female Doberman pinscher. It’s so easy to fall in love with this little sweetheart. Ivy might be a bit nervous when you first meet her, but with some time, gentle words and a tasty treat or two, she will be your best friend. Expect lots of gentle kisses. Ivy walks well on a leash and knows some obedience commands. She is eager to please and could easily learn more. She would make a lovely companion for an active senior or a family with older, respectful children.

Ivy (#30965614) can be found at the Idaho Humane Society’s PetSmart Everyday Adoption Center at 130 N. Milwaukee St. The center is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day except Sunday, when it closes at 5 p.m. The main shelter is at 4775 Dorman St. in Boise and open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week.
