Meet Tatum, the pet of the week for Feb. 25
Tatum is a 5-year-old, 12-pound neutered male domestic shorthair cat with very handsome black and white tuxedo markings. Tatum came to the Idaho Humane Society as a stray earlier this month.
He doesn’t enjoy being picked up, but he is a very sweet boy who loves to be near you. He will settle in on your lap for some head rubs and purr nonstop. He is always interested in meeting new people — expect him to greet guests at your door — and he loves watching the world out of the window.
He doesn’t like other cats and would be happiest as the only animal in your home. He would be a great choice for a family with older, respectful children.
So, if you want a cuddly lap cat who can do his own thing, but enjoys your company, Tatum is the buddy for you.
Tatum (#30827883) is available at the Idaho Humane Society, 4775 Dorman St., Boise. The shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week. You can contact 208-475-0855 with any questions about Tatum.
