Meet Duke, Idaho Humane Society Pet of the Week for Feb. 23

Duke is a 3-year-old, 90-pound neutered male German shepherd. He is a very intelligent and powerful dog, but he has a goofy side to his personality as well. For most of his life, Duke has had limited interaction with other dogs or people outside of his family. He will need an experienced owner with knowledge of the breed who will provide him with positive training and a structured, consistent environment. Careful socialization will be important. German shepherds are known for their loyalty, and Duke will bond strongly with his new person. He needs an owner who will be equally dedicated to his success.
