Idaho native, ‘America’s Veterinarian’ will give free talk in Meridian

Southern Idaho native Dr. Marty Becker, known for his appearances on “Good Morning America” and “The Dr. Oz Show” and for a series of pet care books, will give a free talk on taking the fear out of vet visits for your pet.

The talk is at 7 p.m. on March 2 in the Meridian Middle School Auditorium, 1507 W. 8th St. in Meridian.

Topics will include: discovering the worst thing a social species (like dogs, cats and people) can experience; learning the top 10 anxiety/fear triggers for dogs and cats and how to reduce or remove them; more ways to have happy pets.

Intermountain Pet Hospital and the Helping Hand Fund are sponsoring Becker’s visit.
