Canyon County Pet of the Week: Lady Bug

Lady Bug, 2, is a female Chihuahua mix who came to us as a stray. She appears to be house-trained. She does not react to dogs when passing by them in the kennel areas. She needs a little practice with her leash walking as she does pull. She is very sweet natured and affectionate. She would need a secure yard without any small openings. The humane society always recommends that you bring in the whole family and other dogs in the home for a meet and greet. She is current on her vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.

Lady Bug is in Dog Adoptions at the West Valley Humane Society at 5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. For more information on other adoptable pets visit www.westvalleyhumanesociety.org
