Ada County Pet of the Week: Renegade the cat

Renegade is a 5-year-old, 9-pound domestic shorthair with orange and white tiger stripes. He first came to the shelter as a stray and spent some time in a foster home recovering from a kitty cold. He is all better now and ready to find his forever home.

Renegade is a very sweet boy and will happily curl up on the couch or in bed next you. He will purr and knead with his front paws when he’s content. He is also very playful and is most active in the morning and at night. He is a friendly, easy-going cat who will make a wonderful companion.

Renegade is in kennel 14 at the Idaho Humane Society, 4775 Dorman St. The shelter’s normal hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week, but it will close at 3 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and stay closed for New Year’s Day. Find out more at idahohumanesociety.org.
